This is the original version of the Far Away Waltz... only this is in 4/4 time. This is one of the few songs I've written where the music came first. I was taken with the harmony... listen to the two guitars.
The other interesting thing about the song is that it has no rhymes and only two verses. I didn't know you could do that until it happened, and two verses are plenty if you have a good chorus and a pretty melody for a break in between.
